Honestly it's a bit disheartening to see a community with so much insight readily jump to bashing every single "hip new thing" in the browser/JS world, heck, even npm/bower. I think part of it is because of the prol

Having worked in this area, I can say you are on the right track. Not only the US, there are many countries/powers that will get very upset if certain people see certain areas. As for who gets to see what, there are extremely stringent

I'm not familiar with the content you provide, but masterclasses could be an option -- as long as you have a good track record, many people would readily give you money to learn how to think like you.

Interesting concept, but little more. Enforcing keystrokes every 5 seconds is a horrible way to facilitate writing. In fact, this reminds me quite a bit of those algorithmic sites that give interviewees a time limit (ie: 30 minutes) to come

That's of course, assuming that there isn't a record of who is printing what. Which would probably be a dangerous assumption.

I'm mostly going to comment on the latter part of your question about vetting a developer for this project. As you mentioned you don't have the technical skills to create this project yourself, it would be quite difficult to be ab

Resistance is one of my favourite games of this type. It's great when you have 2 or 3 really talky people. Kind of falls apart when everyone is quiet though.

I don't know what kind of financial situation you're in, so I'd recommend securing a new job before you quit, but if you are doing fine financially, you may want to consider quitting first. Health is not cheap. Burnout is a v

There's nothing wrong with jQuery. Aside from extending and abstracting parts of JS and DOM traversal, it also removes many of the complexities with cross-browser support, especially with dated browsers. The biggest issue is when you t

My first assumption was they don't cater to Canadians as usual, but after seeing the coverage map I was hopeful. Attempted to request an invite but it doesn't allow Canadian postal codes (ie: V5H 2T3), only stuff like 90210. Sigh.
