That’s a bit like saying everyone will drop IPhone once USB-C is standard on other phones. It just doesn’t work like that, cars are a status symbol for a lot of people where as VCRs are pure functionality, there will be more to the decision

As are Kia/Hyundai? You still get the warranty on a used car, it just keeps ticking over until 7-10 years. They’re no different in this regard.

People using IE 11 “because they have to” is a hard thing to quantify without some sort of survey. I say this because even though your anecdote rings true, I’ve seen many people in offices use IE 11 purely out of ignorance and comfort reaso

In the UK there will be a gas boiler ban on new builds in 2025. That’s when we will start to see a market for these. > I honestly think part of the reason they are not adopted as much is people can't understand them and don't t

I don’t see this happening. I’m sure (as far as bars go) contactless payment will be preferred more in future. COVID has sped up the process of that. It’s unlikely to see many £50 notes around. There were already a lot of “card only” bars i

Your profile settings have a “noprocrast” option, you could try switching it on and see how that’s goes. By default you get 20mins of viewing time then you’re banned for 3 hours. It might be worth it until all the politics blow over.
