Is IKEA just a drop in for "cheap crap" in this analogy? It's not like all furniture is IKEA by a long shot. I guess in terms of "IKEA is fine if you're 23" AI is fine for throwaway work.

Source is based on the Quake engine. A lot of those AAA games you're thinking probably are.

In a similar vein, does anyone know how to classify the kinds of problems that are being found? Is it possible to build heavier traditional linting to catch whatever is being caught in a more deterministic way? It seems to me that would be

So are you saying this cottage industry achieves success or the industry formed around an impossible task? A cottage industry is built around making rocks look good too. Is that an indicator that games are good or bad at making rocks?

Is this top tier satire or pure naivety? You're arguing that military contractors or public companies couldn't possibly be corrupt or nefarious?

Less sloppy in that it's clean and consistent looking but much more sloppy in the AI good looking non-sense way.

The Vision Pro, for example, has enough fidelity that you can do that sort of thing with a hand gesture fairly easily.

> It's not like Meta has been building their empire on open ecosystems. Is this actually true? They have their closed social graph or whatever but come to think of it they're built on a lot of open tech, the web, Android, etc.

For the most part, a phone gets you most of the way there. They're currently the apex predators of the mobile space. I think the one thing that a headset does bring to the table is the hands free nature of it. There are quite a few A
