Wow, thanks for all the thoughts! Really appreciate it when people who have already dealt with my problems can provide insight. I guess that's a perk of being young. You're right, though. It's an opportunity, and my goal needs to be to make

You're right, I was wrong to be so critical. I suppose my point comes from a percentage, perhaps small, perhaps large, of free riders in the industry. But that comes with every career. My life plan as of right now is to go off to college as

I consider myself pretty good; I honestly have no baseline, but I've spent several years working with PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, I've learned Node.js, and I've built several working prototype projects over my high school years. They're clean,

I'm class of '13 for grade school, entering college this fall at a state university. I've been programming since I was 8, and from what I can tell, my self-teaching has put me at a level above people fresh out of school with a flashy degree

I've always found the Metro UI as a total waste. A lot of people argue that you can just ignore it, because the desktop is still obviously there. This is partially true. But given that you can't disable the hot corners, and the full screen

Been playing with Zim. I like it a lot. The equation editor, unfortunately, is having some issues with Miktex, but I'm sure I can iron those out

What the logo is doesn't matter. We just all need to grab one out of the hat, say "that's good!", and move on. The question really is, as Skoofoo says, why exactly we need a logo.

The "hit refresh to see CSS changes" is a big crime I've noticed on my (and my dev friends') time. My logic with my recent project is simple: -You have a computer -Computers automate tasks -Automate all your repetitive tasks There's obvious

I second that question, and expand it a little. AWS is likely a more secure and trustworthy option given the recent controversy, but it really is comparing apples to oranges; they're both hosting solutions (fruit), but fundamentally very di
