Did anyone notice this: "Cookies immediately send everything they capture to the nearest Mother." For me, that's a bit of a scary statement considering how intimate the product is meant to be in someone's life.

I'm more annoyed that this company even exists. At first I thought it was a nice way to describe how they avoid taxes, turns out that this company provides these "solutions" to businesses.

I'm not sure it does encourage the use of SHA256 crackers.. It's about looking for/generating a particular hash, not cracking or breaking a hash; all that these miners do is generate more hashes quicker.

Beg your pardon, jumped the gun myself there. Misread a comment on the IRC channel: "unless there's some massive bug, I doubt we'll see the tip of the tree change"

Sure, you can just print more cash. With gold bars the gold would become (I assume) more valuable. But at what point does it seesaw and there isn't enough of it to be of any value? I guess with BTC there are satoshi's.

Not an actual release, the VERSION file changed on a non-main branch.. Stop jumping the gun.

This release is out on 1/12/13 it's still meant to have a major bug. This isn't actually a release...

Yeah, the fact that bitcoins can be permanently destroyed is a little bit worrying, one of BTC's benefits is it's cap. What's the economical consequences of these coins being destroyed?

Well put. Perhaps if the energy sector wasn't so corrupt that £71/week might actually go a little further. I'm living in a house with an old immersion boiler and it costs around £20 every 4-5 days (that's only on for 2-3

That's entirely understandable, but what about businesses where they have huge surpluses of cash and risk of bankruptcy is nominal?

Awesome. I would have been tempted to call it HTML5 game written in 30 lines of JS and then had some defunct JS code..

Ah it's the fragments that are causing this. Thanks for the info. Would be nice if the back button wasn't default based to fragments but actual URLs (fragments don't get sent to the server, right?).

Might be an extreme comparison (beg your pardon if I'm being naive), but it's a similar hinderance to using SSH keys. Carry it around on a USB key, or deal with the security outweighing convenience.

Awesome idea, should randomly salt them for users who insist on using the same password for different sites.

Your argument about not trusting anything can be applied to... anything. It's not hard to make one yourself, so if you're that worried about security, don't use a third party plug.

Has anyone any tips on any frameworks for building JSON RESTful services? I have been using https://github.com/ant0ine/go-json-rest and it works as a great building block. Is there another great lib I have missed?

That's too many characters, plus "Favourite of 12 Apostles" doesn't mean Jesus', it could be the users. I'm not convinced that it's St. though as when they say name1 that would suggest St. was part of it :

I was thinking that St.peter would have to be peter (NAME1) but then that wouldn't be enough to be it's own block. I'm guessing the split boxes [ ][ ][ ] are characters and the long [\t] are for numbers.
