Now there is the extra hurdle of having some software installed system wide and some software installed only for the user.. at least in Windows XP when I last tried to do this, I found that even on a single user system that start menu items

I have a rubber dome switch, which I always considered a step up from the membrame keyboards. I didn't realize it was considered one and the same; my Packard Bell keyboard feels almost as nice as some of the mechanical keyboards I've used.

I have an old mechanical keyboard of sorts that I use... I am currently typing on a fairly old Packard Bell keyboard that has individual plastic switches. It is not the best there is, but it works well... so that is what my normal keyboard
