This is not the case, not by far. nanoc is aimed at building complex sites and hence has a lot more features than Stasis. Some examples: - Items can contain arbitrary metadata in nanoc - You can trivially build multiple representations of a

I'm pretty sure there will be no overhead from the type class when the appropriate SPECIALIZE and INLINE pragmas are added, and compiled with -O2. I haven't taken the time to optimize it yet because I haven't had performance problems so far

While Jekyll offers convention over configuration, it is not that configurable at all. Hakyll is definitely harder to use, but more flexible as well. For example, it is possible to write a tool which mimics Jekyll, built upon Hakyll: http:

Yes it is, it would work fine as a variable . E.g. var lenght = 23; console.log(lenght); will not cause any troubles. And many of the results returned by the search are of this kind.

Yes. But if you want help on Hakyll, there's #hakyll on freenode.

Hakyll 3 is mostly inspired by nanoc. The key differences between nanoc and Hakyll are: * type-safety of Haskell prevents you from doing I/O where this could be dangerous; * while nanoc layouts can contain code (erb), Hakyll templates do no

Yeah, I use as much tweets as twitter can give me in one request. Any more would probably be a too long delay for the end user.

n=1 is indeed being used. The problem with a larger n is that you get original tweets really often, because the dataset is limited (as much tweets as you can get in one request).

Until any of the following events occurs: - the machine runs out of memory (the tweets are stored in a redis backend); - someone (I) accidentally clears the database (this has happened before); - zombies attack our datacenter. But I'll try

The trick is in the counter variable. Read the update section, and the source code (it's not much, really).

Author of the article here. I'll try to give a quick informal explanation. If you look at the type signature of `>>=`: m a -> (a -> m b) -> m b Let's suppose there's a HakyllAction monad. The >>= signature

I second rxvt-unicode. Very configurable, and works fine with a tiling window manager.

Instrumental, or indie. Altough I have to say, after coding for about 20 minutes I don't notice the music anymore because I'm too concentrated on the code.
