I'm from SF and spent a lot of time in Berlin. My observation was that when you go into a shop in SF, you'll get greeted to a lesser degree, but more cheerfully. In Berlin, you were greeted almost every single time, but more perfu

+1 UltraEdit I've kept UltraEdit around for more than 20 years now. Column editing, especially back when it was introduced, saved my bacon more than a few times.

Not only does Google have too many different chat tools, but now my @gmail and G Suite inboxes won’t even look/operate the same, for however long it takes Google to align these products.

There's a long story here, but here's the short take: Most of my email accounts are public email provider mapped to domains. But anytime I sign-up for something that's not tied only to one of my work endeavors, I use the non-

I moved all my public emails from first@last.something to first.last@wellknownmailprovider and then spent a lot of time changing my email address in accounts that I've had a really long time. Shocked at how badly that went, actually. F

I get your point -- and I especially agree with that statement w/r/t nutrition. One owns a clinic and works primarily with terminal cancer patients. The other works in an ER.
