This reminds me of my friend Pete's idea of holding something like a Barcamp but the whole day is just Pete teaching you stuff Pete knows (which is a lot). The primary difference being that Pete charges a fee; this is even better!

Nice, now that you don't really need iTunes to sync iOS devices I've been shopping for an alternative player. My only request would be a "fob" mode that minimizes the player to a small controller view. Good work, looking forward to the off

Don't overlook the cost difference as well, the iPad2 is half the price of even the base MacBook Air and if you include the cost of the keyboard you still have a couple hundred bucks left over.
