Has anyone given Atom a lengthy comparison in performance on a Macbook Retina versus non-retina machines? I've owned 3 Macbook Retinas to date and every single one has had sluggish behavior in many apps. Google Chrome and Electron apps

Thanks, but I've been through that without a solid answer. It appears they're doing a standard desktop screencast then running it through a stylus-based app to write on top of the video. Would have been nice to hear from anyone wh

Thanks, I did mean Cask. I follow both projects closely and am aware of a bunch of the current discussions. Both are great initiatives.

This is the part I wish could be solved. I hate having to input billing into various websites and apps and not being able to track licenses unless I do myself.

Brew is not even tech-person friendly. I'm comfortable with the command line and I had a ton of problems getting cask to work. I LOVE the idea and I will use it every time I setup a computer, but there's so many issues to work out

That, and the settings syncing and licensing situation which I think is far more inconvenient than a quick removal and reinstall of cask apps. I love Cask but I'll choose App Store apps over their counterpart until the app devs can imp

I've heard it directly from the people that work at these large companies. The reality is Squarespace (and other platforms like it) offer a user experience that's perfect for the non-technical people who actually manage these webs

I don't doubt that they are friendly but honestly that's irrelevant to most people. The problem is, while they may be friendly, nearly all of them will want to pickup and drop off in the same location because they know it's h

But don't think you're safe there. If you have the slightest hesitation at all in your tonality, the driver will all of the sudden get a case of "I don't know that location, can you give me directions". I experience

I've used Shopify for my clients a bunch of times, and now I primarily and almost exclusively use Squarespace, which I would say is the largest Shopify competitor that no one ever mentions. I'm a Squarespace power user and one of

Yes, and my profile is public. I also follow brands I don't necessarily like, but am interested in following, whether it's keeping up to date on an industry, or just knowing what competitors are up to.

Wow, Facebook has been the exact opposite for me. When Google Reader started becoming too much work to manage, and its closure was on the radar, I moved to Facebook and decided to follow all the brands, companies, and people I'm intere

How will they actually accept the payment though? Apple Pay requires Touch ID (or Apple Watch), which is the consumer's device. Does that mean there will be an API for 3rd party developers to ACCEPT Apple Pay over the air? Or do they h

How are they deciding who can accept Apple Pay in stores? For instance, how do mom and pop shops who use Square readers get on board with Apple Pay? Is it safe to assume that in the future, an iPhone itself can be a device that ACCEPTS paym

Agreed, a simple login to the account would have prevented the deletion. Still wish Google didn't assume the account was not being used simply because of not logging in. Some of these accounts were receiving (and forwarding) 20, 30+ me

Yea, I just found out over the past 2 weeks or so. Apparently the warnings started coming through about 2 months ago or so, and they were shut down about 2 weeks ago. I've gotten a few emails from these clients over that time.

I guess if someone had experience, or was trained well, they could potentially be selling without coming across as selling. Like you rent from a real estate agent and he's sort of running through the typical questions in a conversation
