If you're interested in the dynamic in this area of the country, I highly recommend the 2022 game Norco [1]. It's really more of a piece of literature than a game, and it tries to capture the dynamic of the folks who rely upon a

For the divine comedy I can recommend the Robert Durling english translation. Each canto has a large section of notes which give all of that context and various interpretations in condensed form. Really excellent stuff.

The number might be 0.2% for just sesame, but roughly 10% of Americans have some form of allergy[0]. I'm guessing the reasoning here is to attempt to prevent "allergen creep", where the endgame would be major manufacturers th

I heard from a Canadian friend of mine (very reliable source) that Tim's corporate changed to the same supplier of coffee beans that Starbucks uses. It's possible their other meal options were changed similarly.

I think matplotlib's overwhelming API surface motivates a lot of work in the plotting space. I personally find that I need to relearn/recopy the API every time I need to use it, and I could never whip something up on a whim. I act

I think I agree with your point (I would pick a different example, though) LLM programming removes the need to write tedious code, which means the author has fewer opportunities to ask themselves if there are easier ways to model the proble

I was an intern at a large museum in NYC in 2017. When I visited the gift shop, I found a book which was published when Pluto was still a planet. It was the same book I was given when I was little, ~15 years ago!

I recall using desmos to render solutions to constraints in my physics classes in college. My favorite was plugging in the equation for the normal modes of a driven, oscilating square sheet and watching the vibration pattern pop right onscr

I haven't used C++ very much, but I found "A Tour of C++" to be a great introduction. It focuses on the core of C++ OOP semantics and is written by Bjarne Stroustrup himself. I like the book because it doesn't try to ans

Do you get FPS drops in asteroid encounters too? I played the game ten years ago on my old 2012 MBP and it ran great. Now running on my 2017 The game slows to a crawl in astroid fights. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the game

You could call this the Address Unknown [1] approach. An excellent and quick (<30 minutes) read, but probably not an appropriate tactic to use against a random Russian citizen. [1] https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Add
