I'm thinking of starting a jobs site where it's easier to find a job that matches who you are and what you're looking for. Does anyone else feel the need for something better?

Yes the view layer of Django is templating, but it's still a view layer. For Nexus the view layer is very flexible. You could use Nimja for templating or DocUI which I still plan on releasing. This doesn't mean there's no cod

I just went with what I knew. I started this project a few years back and it's been evolving slowly. Web routes will be configured via YAML, so I actually think I could make the lower-level web framework pluggable. So you could use Jes

Django is a great MVC framework. It might be overkill for a blog as another poster wrote, but it's still a good way to learn Django. If you ever want to learn Nim, please consider Nexus ( https://github.com/jfilby/n

Then you need a faster web framework or CMS. Nexus is made with Nim and is designed to be fast ( https://github.com/jfilby/nexus ). But most problems like that can be solved with caching no matter which tech you're

There's still the annoyance of wanting to hang on to some tabs, but not others. Bookmarking extensions are typically the answer, but there seems to be a problem with out-of-sight, out-of-mind. So once you've bookmarked a tab and c

One of the great things about print statements is that you can easily copy and paste them. Also searchable, as another poster has already commented on.

I agree, we need to adapt to a world increasingly powered by AI. Trying to stop or ban AI is just putting off planning how to adapt, and will make the world worse, not better. Also, an AI ban would likely be implemented unevenly around the

Mental math is great for training your brain to stay focused. Also, do whatever you can to be healthy. That's quite a broad topic.

You'd probably struggle with learning anything working so many hours. You need more rest. Related brain training to complement leet code could help you, like mental math. Get your diet and exercise on the right track, those are probabl

You could use nocode to build a prototype, use that as the platform to get initial users, then get funding and rewrite with code as the userbase grows if the nocode solution can't keep up.

That's really cool, unfortunately you have to sign-in just to view a thread. But my real criticism is that it's really slow. It could be that this is because the creator of Reggit is in a free or low-tier plan.

Nim is fast and highly productive to code in. I'm nearly ready to release my Nim Dev Framework (for web apps, web-services and console apps). It has an ORM and the web/view part is getting there. Should be released in the next mon

I don't think any one trait is useful on its own, so the question is really just to make you think. But resilience is quite important.

Nim is another option if you're wanting a language faster than Python, but with high productivity. The ecosystem is not quite there yet though. Nexus dev framework should help somewhat: https://nexusdev.tools

Flutter Web works well for web apps, that's the only target I've tested so far with DocUI. The only drawback is an initial load time of about half a minute (depending on your internet speed) that would be unacceptable for a websit

I'd be tempted to use DocUI which uses Flutter for the UI, and represents the UI with JSON which can be built from any language-supported SDK. It lacks real-time data refresh for the moment though. An Open Source release should be avai

This looks similar to what I'm doing with DocUI, which sends JSON over HTTP to a Flutter engine. https://nexusdev.tools I'm working on getting a release out in the next month or two (Open Source).

Make time to cleanup and remove things that are unnecessary. Schedule this to make it a habit. You can clean up a surprising amount of unneeded/unnecessary things in only 30 minutes.
