Creatine is also found in seafood and plant-based sources as well. I don't know the exact concentrations though. Iron is really the big one when it comes to a meatless diet. You can't easily get enough iron from other sources with

I use it mainly for high-performance backend engines. E.g. I'm writing an automated trading system and the trading engine is written in Nim. I wrote a Nim web framework that has an ORM: https://github.com/jfilby/ne

I've been steadily working on an automated trading system in Nim, currently for Binance only. This is a very difficult problem, to trade successfully based on rules. But it's also very interesting.

There are just too many new languages all vying to be the new Python. I personally like Nim, but it's also gaining traction too slowly.

Procedural SQL is how you package reusable/common operations in the DB world. In terms of programming languages, you'd use an ORM. SQL isn't as broken as you think, it does what it's supposed to do very well. There are m

My guess is that this is to prevent bots abusing infinite results pages. Possibly those that would scrape ranked results for a query.

This is cool, but img2img likely couldn't be easily used to make images in such games, because every scene would look very different. The problem is that you can't maintain the exact look between images. It could be used for artis

True, but I was thinking from a web client. Perhaps if table and column names were aliased? Not that different from GraphQL.

If persisted GraphQL queries are safest and likely more performant, then persisted SQL would have the same benefits. Not that I'm advocating for that, but there's not much difference once you've accounted for all factors.

It's not good for Nim, unfortunately. The language is great, but the community isn't that big. If you're looking for a web framework with an ORM for Nim, check out Nexus: https://github.com/jfilby/nexus

Concepts like transactions are often about trade-offs between performance and features (which introduce complexity). It's likely that the OS architects realized that if devs wanted transactions they'd use a database.

This is not necessarily a bad thing. Ideas that prove worthy in NimSkull could be incorporated into Nim, if the Nim maintainers decide to do so.
