Some advice: 1. Find a social media site that works for you, and post regularly, daily if possible, but don't spend too much time per day. Twitter works well. Then build up your follower account. No matter which startup you launch in t

I nearly switched to Windows 11 (from 10), but then I thought, do I have to? Instead I'm now running Fedora instead and my only concern is a printer driver, which I haven't needed to look at just yet.

I think they're being inundated with issues and pull requests. So, the dust really has to settle.

I think a lot of the hype is because it's close, but not quite usable. Nobody's really sure what the weak points or limitations are. This sort of dev isn't easily slowed or stopped, it's Open Source except for GPT-4. Eve

Everyone feels that way, that's why WFH took off when it was given a chance.

The intention is for them to do things that are more like projects. E.g. build a website or even a business (e.g. an ecommerce shop with marketing, etc). AutoGPT and BabyAGI are only a few weeks old, so they need time to build. So they are

ChatGPT is like Mosaic. They should take note that there could easily be other competitors that close and exceed their performance.

Take a look at Auto-GPT, it doesn't seem like AGI is far off. I say the AGI in a weak form is already here, it just needs to strengthen. Tracking problematic actions back to the person that own the AGI will likely not be a difficult ta

Even then, you have to email the site owner to ask them to refer you. You don't see the job posting, at least not for the job I clicked on.

I hope they have a plan to release DALL-E 3 sometime this year, MidJourney seems to be pulling ahead.

This is why I suggested that content generated as AI should be indicated as such with HTML tags, META at the high-level. But perhaps an property/value pair is better, such as aiGenerated=true. But as the use of AI generated content pro

It could be that pgvector isn't good enough for serious use. It would be great to see some benchmarks. The one you site sounds like there's enough reason to try something more specialized. Postgres is quite good as a JSON store bt

If I wanted to do that I'd use PgVector, since I use Postgres for just about everything. There'd need to be a really good reason to go with a specialized DB.

Exactly this. LLMs shouldn't attempt math, they should pass it to a solver.

It would also be great to keep the manufacturing of products that needs these materials in space, to avoid pollution on earth. Jeff Bezos wanted to put factories in space, but that might take some time.

I had this idea years ago, but I thought that Google would outdo it, even with the customization. But that was before mega sites like StackOverflow. This may now be plausible.

That's really an example of execution being more important than ideas. I think tech people typically hate that, because we're often ideas people.

Lots of work that steadily improved things. E.g. a lot of the research that Generative AI is built on happened in the 2010s.

AGI can solve problems in any general context using its capabilities, including problems never seen before. There's weak and strong AGI. Right now I'd argue we have weak AGI with ChatGPT and its plug-ins. The GPT-tech allows for g

I'd say either talk to someone, as conversation can get your mind off your own self-talk, or go for a walk and pay attention to what's around you.

You need to manage stress better. If you're stopping because of that fear, then try going for a walk. Ashwagandha is great at relieving stress, just don't take it every day.
