What about someone who's carrying 100+ pounds of excess body weight? Would you consider walking to be fake exercise for them? I'd say that's a more heroic workout than joy riding.

Ollama is great if you're really in love with the idea of having your multi gigabyte models (likely the majority of your disk space) stored in obfuscated UUID filenames. Ollama also still hasn't addressed the license violations I

A great place to start is with the LLaMA 3.2 q6 llamafile I posted a few days ago. https://huggingface.co/Mozilla/Llama-3.2-3B-Instruct-llamafi... We have a new CLI chatbot interface that's really fun to use. Synt

I agree. If Matt was smart, he would have spent the last ten years maintaining his advantage rather than ignoring the problem. Now that he's backed into a corner and forced to get real nasty to survive, I can't believe how much te

How would you feel about Google if they used things like Linux and never contributed anything to open source? As the most profitable entity in the WordPress space, WPE has a duty to give something back. What Matt is asking for isn't un

WPE is the most profitable business in the WordPress space, and they haven't changed a single line of code in WordPress or so much as contributed a dime. So if you're eager to volunteer to be their free labor, be my guest.

What for making a mess on their land? Why does the government care? Probably because the government seized their land after they stopped paying taxes. So you want to punish them for not cleaning up the land that the government seized?

I could imagine community ownership working in your case. Whoever controls such an important and scarce resource that many people depend upon for survival, whether it be public or private, is going to have their top minds focusing on maximi

I'm not sure what can be done when land is worth less than the cost of cleaning it. I'm sure technology will be available in the future that makes it economical. Especially as land grows more scarce.

The getrandom(2) man page guarantees it doesn't block or get a signal if it's less than 256 bytes and you're not using GRND_RANDOM. That's basically the subset of getrandom that getentropy uses.
