Shameful plug: For interested ClojureScripters there's my adapter: https://github.com/jussiarpalahti/mathom I was looking at upgrading it to Mithril 1.0 this past weekend, but new Cljs release's new JS suppor

Great news, just yesterday I was dusting off my old Cljs project and now this happened. I was reading the docs on externs (how to describe your JS code - like a 3rd party library - Closure compliant for its API surface). Could it be possibl

Thank you both. I didn't realize how Erlang flawored this really is. This did the trick: > (lists:map (lambda (a) (io:format (integer_to_list a))) (lists:seq 1 10)) Though all those OKs look kind of superfluous. I must read

This definitely clarifies things. Thank you for your trouble. With Mobx I'm not handling a regular object, but a wrapped object (I think). This wrapper provised the observation capability for getters and updates to observers when using

Thank you. I like the idea of autorun function. Perhaps it could do logging or gathering debug information without having to touch so many places like Redux seems to require.

I took a look. This seems intriguing because it doesn't bring the whole RxJS with it to make observables work. Though I'm a bit baffled by the developer's statements about immutability of values in his SurviveJS interview [1]

I've been on 2.9 series for few months now, since this appeared on HN, so sadly nothing new here... [1] I had such a great time getting to know these features then. I haven't noticed any instabilities, and new features have been w

I read somewhere, but have forgotten where, that having doing things same way twice is ok, only when you're second time repeating yourself, think about using an abstraction. Or to say it more succintly, duplication is not a problem, tr

I think I used foreign-libs at the end. I might have had preamble there at one point, but that iteration did not work. Using Figwheel + Devcards build in Leininged seems to swallow compile information, or at least I couldn't see any er

Could you clarify a bit the state of JS on ClojureScript land? I just spend a weekend watching videos about Om Next and Devcards. I got Om Next inside Devcards working, but the journey from there to getting my JS based React components ther

For a light weight, ES5 style version, I have used a function generator (or factory, if you prefer). It keeps iteration state in its closure, and the resulting function updates it when its called. Your code calls generated function from the
