I'm not sure that it will "only affect a small number of users". Maybe this should be an option with false as default value, it could help with the transition.

I was "afraid" that they were hosting the recipes but they are linking to the original websites. Fun thing: nobody has the same definition of "world cuisine" :)

It's really useful, but I would add the highlighting of the search query in the result page, sometimes you search for something and you still have to ctrl+f the text in the page.

This is not an effective countermeasure against logging your browsing history, which is what all the fuzz is about currently. Your browsing history is made up of the list of sites you actually visit. Also, Google was always able to do this,

Despite the scary pictures on the Play store and name of the app (I expect to see dongs), I tried to install it but the fields for the username, password, etc were unreadable (Nexus 6).
