You can definitely do a deorbit burn and then flip around using thrusters before aerodynamics kick in. The Space Shuttle did it all the time.

It also would take a lot more monopropellant to maneuver the entire assembly for docking with the ISS.

I read "Way of the Peaceful Warrior: A Book That Changes Lives" back in high school, and it made a profound positive difference in the way that I view the world. I recommended it to my roommate a few years ago though, and I read it again af

Having developed for both Android and iOS, I totally agree. It will definitely be big news when a major Android app is noticeably better than its iOS counterpart.

You don't need religious faith for your life to have a purpose. The only difference is you need to/get to choose a purpose, instead of having one dictated to you (which is often vague anyway).

To be honest, the first thing I thought after playing with this for a bit is "hmm, I should show this to my religious friends".

I usually wear button-up shirts (and sometimes a sport coat) when going out or meeting with clients, but I am a firm believer that neckties cut off blood flow to the brain. Also, slacks are just not comfortable. I much prefer a nice pair of

Typically, you're going to pay around 50-60 cents on a small transaction, unless you have a special arrangement with your gateway and/or merchant back (or they're micropayment-friendly). You can help that somewhat by batching, if you expect

I think once an entity has the ability to do it, people will tend to think they are unethical, or at least be suspicious. Google and Facebook weren't considered "potentially evil" 5 years ago.

I actually think it's kind of funny how us nerds dream about this globally-connected society where you don't even NEED logins and data flies around effortlessly. Then when it actually happens, we all flip out.

On the other hand, a ton of people I know have signed up for Spotify and Rdio simply because they saw them in their feeds. Hell, I only heard about Earbits that way and I love it. Maybe that was the cost to get on the Music tab.

Reading around a bit I believe they used GPS to correct for anything like that. Presumably, if there were frame dragging effects they would be measurable via the GPS satellites, although that could also be the source of an error.

Cue the requisite 3 days of grousing about News Feed changes before everyone gets used to it. Remember when Facebook first introduced the News Feed and there were News Feed protest groups with over a million users sperging out about it?
