The "latest builds" page shows automated builds created by docker hub, but repo owners can also manually push builds created by themselves, which seems to be the case.

Social conditioning has not failed. Right now it's telling men in several societies that "it's the right thing to rape your woman" since it's your property, and that "a woman needs to be protected by her owner-

Version control is hard, simple as that. Git actually makes a great job at keeping simple stuff simple, but if you need some of the more complex stuff... well, I guess you could always go back to pen, paper and a secretary (aka: make someon

Get yourself a WIP branch, do whatever you want on it, extract clean commits from it, kill it with fire when finished.

8TB SSDs are still kind of expensive, and when you get to fill just half of that with a few million files on a HDD, just listing the drive contents becomes painfully slow. It surely wouldn't hurt to keep the small files and directories

According to their Stripe data, they're making between $2560 and $4700 a month with around 200 users. If your VPS box could handle that... they might still have a better business model.

Heroku is not 100% management-free, and if you know how to deploy the same infrastructure they provide, using VMs, dedicated servers and whatever, then there is little reason to use them at all. You get better flexibility, lower costs and v

Unless you are really insecure about your proficiency in any work-related tasks, I would strongly suggest against doing anything work related in your spare time. It would only dilute your salary (now you're working 1-2 extra hours ever

Who is "they"? I doubt it was Juniper who put this in, and whoever did it, I doubt he cared about how many people would abuse it once it got out.

It could also be an endemic culture problem, where lots of people skimp on lots of tiny things to the point that the final performance goes down the drain. No one to blame, but everyone to blame.

If you know any docker, that line is pretty basic, so you shouldn't copy-paste it, just write it from scratch: docker run -it --rm -v `pwd`:/mnt ubuntu bash Also, this one works, the other one doesn't ;)

Sounds like a great business model: 1. Get a lot of web pages to show your ads 2. Charge advertisers for showing their ads 3. Charge users for not seeing ads 4. Let the bidding wars begin!
