How does someone move from sprint to Guava? From what I understand Guava provides nicer collections and utility methods which is not nearly the same thing the Spring ecosystem provides.

I highly doubt I'll ever get a job at Google but that's good to know. I use VS code as my main IDE and Microsoft has done a lot of work to make it accessible.

I find it quicker then a google search for things like generating code to initialize a list in a single line in Java when I forgot about Arrays.asList or creating a skeleton rest service in Springboot so I don't have to remember the ex

I use it for basic things like automatically creating Spring Boot rest services in personal applications when I can't remember the annotations. I find it quicker then googling. If it were work code I would just look at an existing code

Keep in mind having a generator could make them an obvious target depending on how bad things get do to the fact that it will be obvious they are running one from the noise. I also assume fuel to run it could be a problem.
