But there are jobs, and people work in them. I, for instance, use Elixir in my day job, and so do 100+ other engineers at my company alone. I’ve also been approached by recruiters on LinkedIn for other Elixir jobs. So yes, there is a signif

At my current company we’ve got 100+ engineers writing Elixir. Fintech in the US. Almost none of them know Elixir when hired.

I used Zig for a couple of Advent of Code problems last year. I decided that Zig is not a language I’m going to be using. Here’s why: - If you ever want to allocate memory, you have to pass in an allocator to the function doing the allocati

Looks awesome! Congrats on the release, and it seems like you're getting a pretty good reception so far as well. A few questions: 1. How did you get all the assets for your game? Did you make them yourselves? I also work on games as a

If “my dude” offended you, I’m sorry. I was just trying to make it lighthearted. I get frustrated at the number of comments on HN articles that are mostly irrelevant if you’ve actually read the article.

Here’s the thing though … VR headsets are terrible to wear for a long time. They make some valid points. I think it’d be cool to use one, IF the comfort issue is resolved.
