The title is "The Worst Outcome is a Mediocre Success" and that's what this is about. How is this deceptive? The "substance" part might be debatable. I personally don't think every post has to go in-depth on ev

Uber and Lyft are not in the robotaxi business. And yes, a lot of these gig companies barely make any money as it is. Most lose money. They basically just hope to be the last one standing and to then rack up prices to a profitable level.

Then explain to us how they game it? The test is blind. You don't know which models give the answer. If you trick them into disclosing their name, it is discarded right away and doesn't count towards the score. Genuine question, b

But that's not enough. What about motorcycles, bicycles, and pedestrians? You will always have to deal with "meat brains".

Probably only true until we achieve AGI, because then it has to be ASI at minimum. I wonder at what point the goal posts can't be moved anymore. Or will we always find some creative way to distance ourselves? I think sometimes this top

Because I see a lot of confusion and wrong information in the comments: It is 15 ml (for our US friends: about 3 teaspoons) of Apple Cider Vinegar diluted in 250 ml (8.45 fluid oz) of water. That's a tiny amount of vinegar! You drink t

I used AI to summarize the article for me, before deciding whether to read the whole thing. I came here for the comments instead.

It's not bizarre at all unless Meta stops developing any future hardware and software for "mixed reality". We will see which features they change and add and also how they promote their devices going forward. I'm sure we

I’m pretty sure it’s staged. The hand gestures are wrong. Similar, but wrong. There’s a certain set of gesture and some of theirs are not part of it. And you can keep your hands resting in your lap. No need to fumble around like this. My gu

I had been a paying Evernote customer since 2011 or so. But the drastic price increases were too much for me. I just didn't use it that much anymore. In hindsight, I should have cancelled earlier. I ended up exporting everything and us

It is actually a problem in Germany that high-speed trains too often share tracks with slower passenger and freight trains. Other countries like Japan put their high-speed trains on completely separate tracks.

That's a funny comment. I don't wear my phone on my chest all the time. If I'm outside it's in my pocket. If I have it in my hand, the camera is facing down. There's no comparison to this consumer grade bodycam.

Not for $20 dollars/month. I’ve already watched less and less YouTube because of the ads. It was worse than old school TV in the end. I realized: There’s tons of other great content out there. I don’t need YouTube at all. For the few v
