A seemingly obvious approach would be to try to get GPT-X to generate candidate proofs and then get a tool like Lean to validate them. Which presumably doesn't work or else I suppose the article would have been about that...

I also expected the same arguments to prevail for TikTok though. It feels hard to argue that TikTok is somehow not a first amendment platform? The fact that political organising occurred on the platform should be case closed...

I believe this is the study you are referring too: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7456194/ Massive effect size which somewhat compensates for the small N in this seemingly well-designed study.

I would argue if you're using QFNs or BGAs you should be designing in metric anyway as that's the native unit for those.

I once had the idea for a global event queue, to enable new types of application interaction. Then twitter came out and I thought "oh well, that basically does what I was thinking of". Didn't quite turn out that way when they

I don't believe you are correct. In the US corporations enjoy "Corporate Personhood", e.g. the corporation itself enjoys many of the same rights as a US person: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corporate_per

Not just same board... the RAM is literally stacked right on top of the SoC. It’ll be interesting to see what Apple will do on desktop... maybe some stacked RAM plus more on the board? Having full control over memory / bus architecture

The PCB isn't really needed. It's just the ESP32 module and servo driver board (the one you can buy from Adafruit) combined on one PCB, the instructions show how to wire those up separately (I stared at the PCB for a few minutes t

In theory, you could fingerprint the host OS first and then run the appropriate commands (of course more tricky with more custom Linux setups, does CTRL+ALT+Fn still work to get to a text console?): https://www.cise.ufl.edu/

The telescoping arm is cute, and provides benefits for reaching into constrained spaces like a washing machine, but in the first clones it would likely be replaced with the standard "cylindrical" (e.g. industrial robot style) arm.

Well... I have an iPhone7 with an unreliable worn-out Lightning port sitting next to me, so I can kind of see the value in having the cable wear out rather than the socket in the phone...

There are 30 candidate vaccines (probably a lot more by now). 32 if you include the two that are non-weakened forms of virus that are being proposed for variolation.

The reason a vaccine is months or years away is only because we are testing whether it is safe enough to give to billions of people. The reason we do that is because a virus can cause disease both directly but also in unexpected ways (e.g.

I think you have somewhat unrealistic expectations of what even a decent photographer could achieve with a graduated neutral density filter (not to mention tilt/shift lenses... maybe 0.1% of even professional photographers use those).
