Oh wow, just from the title I assumed it was talking about gachas (FGO/Genshin/etc), but no, the "apps" the article is talking about seem to be several orders of magnitudes worse ($100k+) than even gachas (where even ful

Oh wow... I'm surprised that's enough. When I was researching scraping protection bypass, you had to do some real crazy stuff with the browser instance + using residential IPs at a minimum...

Really dummy question: how do services like this work? As in, how do they bypass these paywalls? The obvious thing is to mock Googlebot, but site owners can check that the request isn't coming from a Google-published IP and see that it

I do try to make a positive impact, but in the "leave things better than when you first encountered it" sense - I see no reason to worry about, or even be concerned with, "greater" things like "a better world",

We've been using podman compose for semi-production purposes at our company and that's been our experience as well. It's just... it's really rough, there are a ton of "known" issues, and it's rather unreli

As someone else said, sounds like an interesting project to scrape, organize, and somehow "re-surface" that data in a much more accessible manner (how? I don't know; I've never done such a project before). Obviously it s

I think that no matter how people feel about the whole privacy/ad thing, it's an additional option... and I think everybody is better off having an additional option than not.

Absolutely. For me, I don't think I would use anything other than 1PW/Yubikey for 2FA codes. But not everyone uses such technologies, and a certain percentage of population is going to find the hurdle to adopt these technologies&#

Right, I'm wondering that as well, because one could argue that 1 & 2 is a necessary condition but not an automatic trigger. Something needs to actually cause the crash, and it's not always obvious that just because there

This seems like yet another ERC-20 stablecoin with no special "quirks", from a quick reading. My question is, what is the reason for this to exist over existing stablecoins that have much broader acceptance and long history (for c
