Also, FoundationDB doesn’t use a traditional actor model. A single thread runs all the actors. It’s much closer to coroutines than concurrent actors.

I write notes to solidify the idea in memory. Placing the idea in a real space helps me relate the ideas spatially. If I can remember one thing on a page, I can usually remember the rest of the page.

Seems pretty realistic to me. Some people have more influence than others. Connecting with them is partially up to luck. A connection with such a person is a valuable resource.

The vim emulation for the IntelliJ tools worked very well for me. Used to use only vim with a complex setup. Have been using Goland, and IntelliJ for about a year now.
