Well, you did not mention a password before. With a password, you introduce a new 'security feature' which changes your argument in a non-trivial way. This might work better than your proposal before.

I stand by your SSN only for social security point. But the rest sounds plain wrong to me. Your phone might get stolen, your name might change due to marriage, your address might change because you moved/got evicted. What now?

Just because you asked "vote" and not "vouch": I expected to somewhere find at least a reference to the "fallacies of distributed computing" [1]. Looked into topic "how systems fail - what could go wrong&q

I while back i came across SystemC [1]. Have a look, even if C++ might be perceived as a joke in a thread about formally verified RISC-V. [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SystemC

Are there ideas out there which "explain away" the problems arising from planetary/stellar movement? My naive understanding of time travelling back a single day would put me in a spot where earth will be a day later.

Not taking side on the topic here, just a quick note on the dicatorship classification. While some folks think a dictatorship requires a single person or small group in charge, it is widespread opinion in Germany, that the GDR was is in fac

It might be out of scope, but: Can you boot from the m.2 SSD? Do you have benchmarks for m.2 SSD? This would make my day, as all i know of is some USB-dongled SSD that (back then) could not be booted from. Sry, if this is already standard t

For persons unfamiliar with 3D-printing advances of the last years, it would be nice to prominently state the used materials. At least for stuff like heatsinks. I found nothing on the cnx-software website. The INUX3D website just provides a

With 'car as a platform' and automotive corps at least toying with the idea of subscription based features (think: chip tuning and such) it seems tempting to expand this scheme to cars.

Just to be fair: You are combining microservice characteristics and "using a single database" in your argument. Please also consider that especially for smallish teams, microservices are not required to be the same as big corp mic

Funny detail: Magic the gathering hits very close to home by accident. One of the (back then) dominating bitcoin exchanges used the domain mtgox.com which was an acronym for "magic the gathering online exchange".
