It looks like every project by default has a standing token with read privileges. It never expires and its not opt-in. Unless I’m missing something, that seems ridiculous.

I think this gets at a logical algorithmic improvement. I assume they use aggregate location data for things like real-time traffic. There’s no need for these alerts to trigger if there is a critical mass of iPhones near the ‘incident’.

I’m not sure basic transportation is unnecessary. Avoiding cars because they can crash is not realistic.
