If one was a founder who wanted to have their startup succeed without crushing your teams mental/physical health, how would you do it? I understand the founder accepting it as a cost themselves, but when the company's existence de

This topic is important, but this article is weak. They cite a statement about doctor burnout, and a single study about employer statements about the topic. Most of the content is anecdotal, and in that sense they're just going for an

I think polar needs a heuristic evaluation, it takes too many clicks to do certain things. Also, I couldn't figure out how to export a card to anki. Exciting project though, I check back every few months.

When you're as busy as everyone is now, who has time? Can barely keep up with everything as it is. Luckily I'm already married, but it would be a problem otherwise.

I opted for a recent webgl driven app to use no framework for our frontend code and it was lovely. It really makes me wonder why they get pushed so hard. There are no 'indications for use', just 'its HOT right now'.

In Canada, the term engineer is protected, but in the states it is specialization dependent. I went to school for software engineering and I have my ring (I'm not a full engineer for a few more years though). We focus a lot on testing
