I don’t believe cable tv, for how locked down and awful it is/was, ever went so far as to try and limit any spending outside their own platforms. Perhaps it was a lack of innovation, but the internet and the world of software licensing

People say google has good engineers, and that their systems have few bugs. However, their algorithmic bugs routinely de-platform people and often seem to take away people’s incomes (eg, the AdWords people losing accounts every other day).

Not sure why the downvotes. Canadian companies are not into paying people very well, instead we get news stories about massive outsourcing to India followed by security breaches a few years later (eg, see the news over the last year or two

I feel like my university only taught calculation, not theory, when it came to linear algebra. It’s like the equivalent of a “12 hacks to rotate a matrix” article. The theoretical books I find however give no explanation for the definitions
