   What are these significant performance tradeoffs you're talking about? Tell me more about them and where you can experience them.

   Yes and no. Works for me, but doesn't work for some others. Probably a network or HN issue. For the ones it doesn't work for, it's not related to browsers and they receive only half the response (the header).

   No, don't validate email addresses with regex. It's more complex than that.

   Not too difficult to guess what I'm doing. I also use a lot of sed, grep, xargs and such, but they're typically are piped and don't show up here. I removed some local scripts from here that won't make sense to others. 1800 git 701 cd
