This also drives me crazy, it’s nice of them but ends up complicating an already tricky turn or crossing or something else. The worst is when they do it in a situation where there’s more than one lane and I literally can’t see or expect car

I haven't worked with JS for a while so I'm not really up to speed on modern Deno and Node but can't you also package a node cli tool as a binary? Also how can Deno run a lot faster? I would imagine it at least suffering from

I believe it's because Node.js has never made an effort to implement web APIs nor has it been a goal of the project. Edit: as others have pointed out, APIs that are implemented in Node.js are listed on MDN.

Where in the EU? From my perspective it's consistently getting crazier and crazier in the capitals. I also see a lot of cheap rural property in Germany, Estonia, Portugal, Poland etc.

Combining some form of automated testing (doesn’t have to be anything fancy) with a debugger provides a very fast feedback loop you can iterate quickly on.

From my perspective (also iOS and macOS dev) PWAs can be great for a lot of use cases, especially if you just need a mobile offering for an existing SaaS product. If Apple actually implements some of the required features for PWAs in Safari

Can you comment on compile time for both in your experience? Larger Swift and SwiftUI projects are bring my (new) mac to a grinding halt and I’m finding myself working around things I know will be difficult for the compiler.

I don't know about that exact rule (most of my clients are not German). Honestly in my experience of living here and freelancing on this visa a lot of these requirements seem to be up to the discretion of the person doing the interview
