That'll be what it is. In my experience as a cyclist it's unusual for drivers to indicate to overtake a cyclist even when do do move fully over into the other lane.

I recently overheard someone talking about how the lane assist in their new car tried to stop them from safely passing a cyclist. It tried to force them to stay in the lane. As a cyclist it made me wonder how many of the close-passes I expe

You're not wrong. There is a loyalist majority in NI. But those that would refer to Northern Ireland as "the north" would generally be among those that definitely would refer to the six counties as occupied.

That wasn't the question ksec asked though was it. "Off Topic: Is the short form (Republic of Ireland) ROI used often?" But also no. Cables landing in ROI would be under completely different regulatory control to cables landi

I understand what you're saying, but it's not just pedantry. You do have to be specific about what you mean when you say "Ireland" in any context where it is important that you are understood. "Ireland" can qui

ROI is often used, yes. It's a good way of easily differentiating between whether you're talking about Ireland the island, or Ireland the country, which currently excludes the six counties of Northern Ireland (NI) which are still

Not really no. That would be clear. This would be like if the warrant was for everyone who checked into "the hotel or hotels within a polygon defined by these coordinates"

That's the difference though. This isn't a warrant against a person. It's a warrant against "anyone who google recorded as being in an area"

It's alluded to in the article that judges aren't aware of the size of the geofences they're asked to sign off on, yeah.

I find it concerning that a judge, being presented with a textual description of four GPS coordinates would sign off on a warrant without simply asking... "okay, can you show me that on a map then?"

I'm very much the opposite. I have in mind what I want to pay for a certain item, butter for example, and I'll buy whatever brand is being promoted that week for my target price. As long as it's not absolute garbage of course

I think the counter argument to this is non-perishable food and other groceries. There is a certain brand of shelf stable non-dairy milk that my family use a lot of. The usual price is £1.50 a carton. Every few months there is a 3 for £3.00

But if you did want to buy 3, or 6 or even 12 bottles then it is actually a saving. It's about shopping smart.

It won't happen but I agree. It's like asking someone if they want to go out for dinner, then finding that the only place open is a place with a zero star hygiene rating. At that point it's reasonable to ask, "shall we j
