If you think the internet is the world wide web as well, then sure, it's changed a lot. But the actual internet infrastructure is still the same, this paper discusses the protocols and architectural problems. I challenge you to name so

Where does the world wide web fit into your model of the world? (it didn't need "collective provision") All the article proposes is that we don't have our data locked up, that it's not centralized, so that we have c

So if a hospital has vital patient information locked up with ransom ware, you want to make it illegal for them to pay to get it out? Your source quench nonsense sounds like just another piece of pointless infrastructure to be abused.

Discussing with your peers how much you are being paid is the only way you figure out your value. Companies are quite opaque and it's hard to know what you are worth to them, that's why they don't disclose this sort of thing.

The article is about the distinction between the financial economy and the real economy. Everything you wrote seems to lump them together, and then make inferences assuming both economies are one in the same. (Missing the point of the artic

Do you have any idea how self driving cars work? They currently have sensors that are much different from your eyes behind a windscreen, they don't get blinded by light and rain doesn't bother them.

I like to think of web programming like the english language, how it's a mashup of all these other languages and ideas. It's hard to learn as an outsider and has many gotcha's and wrote learning exercises

An algorithm has limits that humans don't, as Godel's incompleteness theorems prove. The study of mathematics is communicating some deep logic, but it doesn't end there as you trivialize. It's not just some poetry that w

The banks are the ones that wear any fraud, all they're asking is to use the NFC to communicate. It's the equivalent of apple charging you to browse the web, and forcing you to use their browser in the name of 'security'

I'm guessing you've never worked in IT, but security is a joke in the entire industry. Everybody knows that we are hopeless at it, and often the flaws that are exploited are just as simple as this.
