Very happy Slax user (recovery from USB stick only, not as a daily driver). Works great on older laptops, even from USB booting is pretty quick and the (quite basic, but very functional) UI is pretty snappy. It has both 64 and 32 bit distri

Adding to this, I also found that once a startup reaches a certain point, more "experienced" management starts getting hired (often from bigger companies), and the large company politics gets brought into the startup. Reflecting o

It doesn't have to be as clear-cut as that though. You could always have a free tier, then a paid promoted tier, etc.

I think there are possible solutions here for a library, off the top of my head, taking a picture of your face when dropping off the codes, so that when you come back and ask for your codes, the librarian can ID you against the picture they

Technically, all of them can, if you put the "persisted" storage in a directory on a ramfs or tmpfs mount :) This might seem like a bit of a facetious comment, but it does have genuine use cases, e.g. unit tests, or for data that

It doesn't preserve everything like versioning, sharing info, etc, but if you're worried about losing access to these documents going to https://takeout.google.com every couple of months is certainly worth it.

I think here it means you don't need to buy a license or sign up to any terms and conditions, which would be in line with the MIT license in the github repository.

No idea, sorry. The phone has NFC but whether your bank has an app you can get without the Google Play Store is dependent on your bank, but often not the case. If these are deal-breakers to you then it's going to hard to recommend all-
