I've been a big fan of GitHub for Mac since it first launched, and it still gets regular updates. It won't be easy to convince me to switch, but I'm all for improving tools that are such a big part of the workflow.

Amir was here in OKC this past Tuesday giving a talk on RubyMotion. It was pretty interesting hearing him talk about the process and how the game sat on tens of downloads a day for 3 months before seemingly randomly shooting to the top of t

Yes, they are using Ruby Motion and are apparently testing the beta Android support right now, aimed at late summer launch.

These are certainly some bold claims, love the confidence and excited to see what you guys have up your sleeves. Hadn't heard you all were working on anything outside of Light Table.

This is exciting news, I was a Kickstarter backer, but I've been holding off on giving it a solid try until some features like multi-cursors were added.

The way it is stated assumes that 0.12 won't be coming until all issues and pull requests are closed, which clearly is not the case.

That quote and those numbers are incredibly misleading, I'm not sure why they use that to prove Node 0.12 isn't coming soon. If you actually look at the issues on Github, only around 30 of those are marked as 0.12, with the rest b

I'm really surprised by all of the reports of crashing. I've had 3 different Macs over the last 7 years and I've had just one crash in all that time. I use my Mac anywhere from 8-16 hours per day and tax it pretty well. Befor

The good news is that these things always go in cycles. The ones that can weather the downturn will be the big winners on the other side.

I've never really bought into DDG, especially for its lack of features. It still can't match Google, but this is certainly a step in the right direction and gives me pause to think about using it at least once in a while now. Glad

Figured this would have been an obvious acquisition for Google years ago, surprised it took so long. Obviously a perfect fit, and even more-so now with Glass.

This is something our small team has been faced with over the last few weeks. Creating a great multiplayer experience is certainly one of the more difficult and maddening tasks a game developer will face, especially when it comes time to sc

Wow, I'm really impressed with the strides Mozilla has been making on this front. Chrome has long had the best dev tools and is one of the reasons I hardly ever use Firefox anymore. Once these updates land it may be on par or even bett

100 days is probably a pretty good limit, it starts to lose effectiveness past that. Last year I did 234 days straight, only ending the streak on my wedding day, but it should have ended much sooner. It was ultra-productive for the first 60

This is incredibly exciting for the web as a platform. My focus for several years has been helping to bring the web forward as the ulatimte game platform, but there's always been a gaping lack of good tools. Unity can dramatically chan

We've been using the Isogenic Engine for over 2 years (just launched http://casinorpg.com last week with it). It is a great engine, though it's purpose is very different from this. Both look great!

Are you using the same Google Maps as everyone else? At least for me, the experience has never been better or easier to use. I absolutely love the new desktop maps and the performance has been better in my experience, not worse.
