The title is somewhat misleading. It is an HTML5 game that was open-sourced, not specifically a game engine.

The cost of acquisition for new players has grown so dramatically that to keep up their user numbers they must spend a large amount on advertising. Not to mention they are acquiring companies left and right.

This is the exact formula we are using for the rewrite of our poker game ( http://pokerrpg.com ). We are still beta testing the new poker tables, but so far they are running incredibly smoothly using no plugins, just vanilla Javascript, Nod

Not really. Our game studio builds browser-based exclusively, and IE is the biggest paint point we have.

Ironic that this is sponsored by IE, and IE is the one browser holding back cutting-edge browser-based games.

Very cool little game, quite fun! This really shows off the capabilities we already have with HTML5 on mobile, and desktop for that matter.

I've only tried one image so far, but the one I tried showed impressive results. I've always used http://punypng.com , which has always done a great job, but I just ran a file compressed down to 131kb in PunyPNG and TinyPNG took it down to

I'm usually excited about these things, but count me out on this one. I was an early backer of Wakemate (pre-ordered over a year before it finally launched). I have yet to receive everything I paid for, the product itself was defective, and

Opening the app's codebase by default is brilliant, really lowers the barrier to entry for anyone on the fence about contributing.

Where have you been all my life? Oh right, it still doesn't fully exist yet, but I'm excited to contribute because being a purely JS dev I could see this saving me loads of time and frustration.

Am I the only one that read this title and instantly thought it was referring to James Harden?

If you only select one module to build a custom script, it downloads an empty file. Other than that, awesome project!

Why is the traffic graph never working? I was excited to hear the graphs were updated and assumed the traffic graph would finally be working again, but no it is still "temporarily down."

I am very aware what Valve is and isn't, and I never said Valve is a startup.

Well some people belong at a startup, and then there are some people like you who clearly don't. Life shouldn't be all about the money, sorry to break it to you.

I'm surprised at a lot of the negative posts about CloudFlare. We serve around 100 million impressions monthly through CloudFlare, and have been doing so for the past year with no issues.

That would be absolutely perfect. Plus, let's face it, this won't be a success in the long run if a lot of people aren't using it and there isn't a community behind it. The goal right now needs to build a large user base, not squeeze every
