Was really hoping someone had posted a good summary ... First, title is misleading. Reads like a state of the state to me. Second, "Can console makers really continue as they have for years, releasing updates only every once in a while and

I don't think he was focusing on the software aspect, as much as the business aspect. Again, I might be bias, but I agree with him, and if Obama had the same mess of where money was going to, I'd be disappointed. This doesn't read like a le

My first thought was that this would be a real test of what happens to newer consoles where electronic downloads from a (closed) central source (DLC, patches, games) are no longer available. But after reading the article and comments here,

I have a Patriot Xporter that's rubberized and which has lasted me for over a year on a key chain. It takes up a bit more space, but it hasn't been a bother.

I'm curious why you got down voted. After reading the article I checked the date, expecting it to be from the early or mid 2000s. He talks a lot about the past and only briefly mentions the future when he says what he'd say to potential emp

I don't get it. I'm sure a lot of bloggers in the area may be doing something similar, so what in particular is newsworthy about this one?

I was expecting an article pondering this, but instead I get a product page where the Android version is available, but iOS is coming soon. Too little information to know for sure. They may have more experience with Android. They may see a

Re Wisconsin, as someone who has lived in the state all his life, and been confident that we'd elect a Democrat as president since the mid-90s (and definitely in the last 12+ years I've been voting), I believe the state is swinging. Walker'

Thanks. Like I said, I haven't kept track of Ubuntu, so I wasn't aware of the change of focus. Given the possible pricing of Surface devices, it would be interesting to see WinRT on the Nexus 7. But I doubt Microsoft would let it last.

For what it is, I personally think the Nexus 7's OS is perfect for the device. It's been years since I've played with Ubuntu, and this potential announcement probably isn't going to change that. And is Ubuntu now going into touch devices? H

Since no one else has commented ... I find it interesting that even this is tied to an Xbox Live Gold account. Questionable decision, but I expect this browser won't be used all that much. I think the majority of people use another device f

So, the more you browse the Internet the more your browser makes requests for (third-party) Web sites? That's hardly news. What gets me is the reporting; 'even the site I write for helps them track you.' Now that's a question (I know the an
