I agree, however the model was clearly designed that the university considers first employment to be the apprenticeship and the university education to be rhetorical background education that makes it possible to follow and keep up in an ap

Variable pitch turbine fans sound very interesting! Perhaps in the future as tech improves and fuel efficiency incentives continue to increase.

Except it’s definitely not, a cargo cult is necessarily ending up with a result that doesn’t function. Whether you dislike it or not this is a real technique that produces real functioning results.

See this is where I think I fundamentally disagree. It’s more like being a scientist who takes 10 rats and tries to train them to sniff out TB, and once they find one that can do it reliably, they go and do real work with it. Just because t

I expected the OS to function on standard hardware, that’s not perfection. You’re acting in serious bad faith. Goodbye.

I think it’s pretty bad faith of you to assume that what I meant by “the user experience hasn’t changed” is “doesn’t have horrible windows style malware in it”.

I have used Linux on and off for 20 years my friend. I am the veteran user. I’m just capable of seeing it from a newcomers eyes.

That the Linux community is elitist and will treat you like the issues you have are always your fault no matter what. If I used a niche distro, people would tell me I should’ve gone with a more mainstream one. You literally can’t win. Also

Until they get their act together, if ever, of course. Much of Linux looks and functions literally identical to how it did 20 years ago.

We might just have to accept that it’s software engineering. Not vibe engineering, just engineering. Proper engineering has never shied away from using smart tools, it’s about ownership, accountability, planning, etc etc and you’re still do

I agree, “vibe” continues the idea of “going on vibes” rather than facts. This form of engineering is scrupulous and complete. It doesn’t fit.
