I use NoScript with Chrome. (It also used to work with Firefox, haven't tried lately.) It doesn't block all paywalls, but it does let you read a lot of text articles on many sites, including nytimes.com - just can't see all t

Yup, it's a mess. What it's not is, a huge multi-car multi-injury accident. So I don't mind it much more than if all the traffic lights in the area were out.

First I've heard of this... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Near-rectilinear_halo_orbit Rather than calling it stable, maybe it should be called a surprisingly stable orbit.

A bit of controversy - it's no surprise how this is viewed by PETA. On the other hand, it can keep the wild animals, gulls, at a greater distance from areas with lots of people. And it does this without killing, mostly, so that the gul

My dad quit smoking about 50 years ago. (2 weeks chopping wood in backyard, mostly not speaking to anyone.) When my brother-in-law decided to quit about 30 years ago, he asked my dad when the craving would quit - Dad told him, "It'

I don't think the author has updated the site since 2011. Here's a link someone posted above: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KytMZOLyF4Q I don't think it's his vision; more like "anti-vision".

That's pretty interesting. Apparently touchscreen throttle and helm controls didn't work out, though, and were removed. I haven't read anything about this since 2019, but here's the link: https://www.theverge.
