Android users: I build some tools to Rsync your iTunes library to your phone over WiFi and it's absolutely bulletproof, works great! https://github.com/jakecoppinger/android-itunes-rsync

We Australians are two steps ahead - I barely even use a pin now! I use PayWave (NFC) nearly all the time and often businesses find it strange when you want to insert or swipe your card.

Good point! Are there any publicly accessible crash/death statistics for cars with a similar price/safety/demographic profile as Teslas? I feel that is the only way we could isolate for self driving and not other factors.

I agree with your intention, though isn't it inevitable self driving cars will kill people even if they are 1000x safer than humans? If a CEO has many millions of cars running his software, their will always be a death. In that case, n

How does VSCode Vim bindings compare to Vintage mode in Sublime? I like the idea of Oni, but I also love that Sublime is native (I'm already running FF Quantum, I can't burn too much more battery!). I know Sublime's Vim keybi

I agree, except how do you control the audience of a website, like keeping friends separate from professional contacts? What's the best way to do this, a password you give to people? I don't like the idea of forcing people to give

I disagree with you on this particular point, but in a wider scope I think you're spot on - it seems so little thought is given to the very basics of UI design. iTunes is the classic example!

I find the danger with ad blockers is they hide the true extent of the tracking from me, because I never see the results. I've now sandboxed Facebook (and others) in container tabs in Firefox so no cookies go in or out, along with uBlo

If this did happen Facebook would quickly figure out exactly what ads you like/make an impression on you, which is just more ammunition for adtech.

I'm really hoping we can take advantage of the start of driverless cars to implement a per kilometer and also demand driven tax/toll system. The current method of funding roads with fuel tax won't work any more, and it doesn&

I am optimistic about self driving cars, but we also lower to floor of possible vehicle occupancy to 0. I'm curious to see if average occupancy goes up or down. Linking up cars sounds great! Maybe we could make the cars electric. And w

Buses are good too, though bus rapid transit doesn't have the appeal of trains. I'm not sure if this is a problem inherent to buses or BRT systems having worse service on average giving them a bad image. 200kph close packed cars w
