AI can't innovate, it can't make anything new that doesn't already exist. So most games made by AI are just tutorial rehashes as that all the LLMs have to generate off.

This kind of prediction is hard because it has a dependency on when will AI companies crash. The market would need to lose confidence in AI which should make data-centre creation stop and then impact nVidia. There's a bet here on profi

I do have kids and they are well adjusted individuals. I spent time parenting them and showing them how the world works. Turns out the social media drug loses all it's power if you reveal whats behind the curtain. Just like real drugs,

They just keep flogging that dead horse. The winner in this race will be whoever gets small local models to perform as well on consumer hardware. It'll also pop the tech bubble in the US.

HackerNews used to be full of moderately smart people. This is basically Reddit level comments. Think for a moment instead of just accepting whatever the media is telling you to think. How many social networks are there? Are some of those d

The government isn't helping you, they just pushed every child in Australia to un-moderated and decentralised social networks. Complete free for alls. 4chan, Mastedon, BlueSky, PeerTube, Pixelfed They have millions of users. They'

Musk thinks it's inevitable so in all likelihood it is. And yes, I'll take his opinions over pretty much everyone else who has no track record of achieving anything meaningful. If there is a world of plenty and humans have little

Yes, because Waymo is a specialist at it's geofenced area. Tesla's are generalists, they can self drive in places Waymo's simple cannot and never will be able to. One of these can scale, the other cannot.

2026 will be an interesting year for sure. I personally don't see a future where Waymo or any Lidar solution stick around till 2030. Tesla are on their final stretch now and can basically manufacture the entire Waymo fleet in Robotaxis

Thanks to Tesla all this stuff will be in a museum shortly. Lidar is flawed at the foundational level. There's a reason no living creature on earth evolved it.

It's all fun and games till the LLM can't fix the issue it created. It can regurgitate and mash up all the blog tutorials that exist online but eventually it'll come across a new problem and it'll be sweet out of luck. V

Government over-reach aside. The social media bans are going to make the problem they are aiming to solve sooo much worse. Kids will flock to darker places like 4chan.

Nokia nailed this 2005 with Maemo actually but didn't have the grit to see it through. Understandable as the risk of going all in on would have been a hard sell to the board vs a slow cosy death they couldn't see coming.
