Apple is a disgusting company.

I do enjoy watching Apple users squirm as the walled garden closes in around them.

Same deal with Android. If you really want privacy a root access Android phone is the way to go as it can provide junk data when apps ask for details.

Customer confidence. Same as how everyone reports they have 99.99% uptime.

It would probably just end up banning Googles own account and leave them with no human escalation option.

To be fair IE crashing would take out the whole OS.

Whats the point? Governments subpoena the information or just block the protocol outright. ( or in China, get it delivered to their door by Apple ) Commercial parties have a bag full of tricks from fingerprinting to embeds on the page itsel

Why? They know people will buy whatever they make regardless.

Proton is the best. Heavy user here - there's very little it can't play and it basically made me wipe my Windows partition as it was no longer needed.

Can't facepalm enough. Just, amazing incompetence.

Yep, hardware matters though. You need one that can work with the DRM.

Great idea, let's call it PiperNet.

Its only disruption if it disrupts. No one cares other than existing Apple users so I guess the only disruption will be the year of really fast and efficient teething issues they will be dealing with. We have one at work, I'd highly re

That's not how things work in the Apple world. Anything Apple release is disruptive and innovative even if its been done before. Just ignore it and continue on in reality.

Honestly there is no scenario where your TV should have Internet access. Setup Kodi and you're done.

Apple propaganda and not worth your time reading. We got an M1 on pre-order and so far it seems pretty half baked. Some apps work reliably, others outright don't. I'd wait another year at least for the kinks to be worked out. Some

What a way to kill the golden goose. Adobe could have done great things with Flash - improved it, made it native and open source while still making a massive profit from what was a really good design tool. Now its dead, all websites on the

I give it a week before Apple bully the developer into takedown.

All my emails that come from domains I have not whitelisted get thrown in the trash. Works pretty well. Same deal with my phone. Any private or unknown number gets the mail box which I never check and SMS trashed.

Depends how close to a round number the price is I would imagine. Going from $10 to $12 has a bigger psychological effect than say $12 to $14

"Popular search engines such as Google, Bing, Yahoo!, Wikipedia, Amazon, YouTube and Baidu are used to calculate the ratings" These ratings seem pretty meaningless. Visual Basic is #6, tell you pretty much all you need to know.

Best advice I can give anyone - buy yourself a used office laser printer. Those things never die. You'll probably never finish the cartridge and they print crazy fast.

I really don't like Apple and would never develop something in their store but I have to admit - at least a human called him and he had some dialog. If this was Google it would have been shut down without any recourse and probably take
