I think we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. That standard for loops are less readable just doesn't make any sense to me. Neither do the preference of exceptions which is pretty much the first things most experienced peopl

One simple thing is for sure, if inequality continues to rise, or even just the perception of it, social unrest will follow. At some point, if you want a peaceful and free society, the low-income worker and up needs to feel that they can

Yeah, it does indeed. But compared to what? Reviewing high density code can surely hide bugs as well when reviewing? Either way, it's also easier to debug low density code so there are more things to consider.

You will go to great lengths to give a reactionary "it's actually not that bad" or "this is actually good!" to every suggestion that the status quo may not be that good for a lot of people, won't you? On a broa

There is nothing natural nor reasonable about absentee ownership. It has always been upheld by force. By kings, feudal lords etc. For other cultures, like for example native americans, the entire concept was completely foreign.

How do you imagine absentee landlords would be able to collect rent without force? Or an even more extreme example, how would the property right of the only water source in town be upheld without force? These things are far from natural, pr
