And may never have. Believe it or not the UK and the USA are two different countries, thank goodness. So making an assumption that the two will adopt exactly the same policies is a little ambitious to say the least. For example please note

But then why does every new model release work great for a few weeks, then suddenly performance plummets? It's mysterious?

I understand what you're saying. However I'm not sure it's that germane when we're talking about whether or not the current $200 subscription fee is actually delivering value for money, or whether AI giants are manipulat

Is that true though? Having to pay some $200 a month for a max account of whatever kind doesn't seem to be cheaper to me at all?

I think it's becoming clear that these mega AI corps are juggling with their models at inference time to produce unrealistically good results. By that it seems that they're just cranking up the compute beyond reasonable levels in

Poor performance, over tight rate limits, inability to follow prompts suddenly, erratic outputs, which together have combined to increase project costs massively?

Two reasons? 1. Management 2. Scalability Running your own local AI takes time, expertise and commitment. Right now the ROI is probably not strong enough to warrant the effort. Couple this to the fact that it's not clear how much loca

One problem might be that American driving is not exactly... well great, is it? Roads are generally too straight and driving tests too soft. And for some weird reason, many US drivers seem to have a poor sense of situational awareness. The

Thanks, I'll take a look. For me, the best interface is old.reddit.com, precisely because it's possible to scan a huge amount of news in a very short space of time. I don't need fancy white space, large images and other stuff
