This is why the new hot thing in mechanical keyboards is gasket mounting and PCB relief cuts. There is some progress happening here. A good desk mat helps too.

Your analogy is weak, so I pointed it out. Reddit created their experience a certain way; why would you go out of your way to avoid seeing your product the way your users do? You haven't presented a single argument as to WHY an employe

Do alcohol makers try their own products to ensure consistency day-to-day ? I would hope so. I would certainly hope candymakers do too. Those are particularly bad examples.

I thought the power advantage mostly came from the total bus being half as wide (32-bit LPDDR4X versus 64-bit DDR4). Do you have a reference for why it can’t be put on a removable module?

Linus has shown his flagrant disregard for impartiality or any form of integrity over and over again. Look through the LTT back catalogue and you’ll see that Intel is big sponsor of theirs. The fact that he gives “honest” reviews of Intel p

I wish there was more of this in North America. It’s either rent and own nothing, get soaked by a condo corp, or own a McMansion freehold out in the burbs.

It's common for aircraft and other heavy duty equipment's tires to be retreaded. Seems like a reasonable thing to do on passenger vehicles if it can be scaled.

It's posts like this that remind me why I force myself not to do front end. I always end up tweaking the same 10 lines of CSS until they're juuuuust right and never get anything done. Great article!

I think this is the only time besides the A12X to A12Z bin and rebadge in iPad Pro that Apple hasn’t compared last year’s model directly to the new one. A15’s main processors don’t sound like a big improvement over A14. Maybe Apple didn’t t

I just wish they could figure out a way to get the sapphire display on the aluminum models. My stainless steel Series 5 doesn’t have a single visible scratch on it and I’ve worn it every single day since launch. My previous aluminum S3 disp

I find it beautiful that the LDAC codec used with Sony wireless Bluetooth headphones only works on Linux through PipeWire. macOS is stuck with AAC, and Windows gets aptX. Linux gets all of them. Who do I thank for making this Just Work?

I love my X-T30, so this really stings. The photo quality and ergonomics are fine for me, so it's a bummer that I can't get the extra neat film simulations that Fujifilm is known for.
