Nope. I never want my front task just interrupted like that. Let's take your "check the filename or something" example, and while you're there, you realize you also need a new directory, so while you're typing the n

Any app should be ready to accept focus. It should never steal focus. When I start an app, and wait for it to launch, I am attempting to give it focus. I can withdraw that intent at any time by doing something else (e.g. switching apps) a

How big of a problem is this? I did get my X4 from somewhere else, but I was still able to change firmware. I think it just adds a hurdle to make it less trivial for unscrupulous resellers to install crapware.

Replying to myself to address responses. I didn’t express an opinion about whether it’s a good idea or a bad idea. All of you have had an immediate emotional reaction to the idea that there’s no legal “right to privacy” from your spouse. Th

I’m not sure I understand Recurse. Self-directed self-improvement. “Attending remotely” is even more self-directed. Ok, so Recurse is providing accountability partners or something similar? How is Recurse making money? I don’t see a pricing

Denying the problem exists is not the same. Denying that the problem is a “problem” would be. In the first case, the affected do nothing because there is no problem. In the second, it’s “not a problem” because they did a thing and moved it

Customers are customers because of capital. Management represents the owners (capital.) Any other framing is delusional.
