No, Slack isn't really anything like IRC. Slack is more of an upgraded Instant Messengers.

Yeah, 2advanced.com was a mind-blowing experience the first time I saw it.

Is this like some click bait experiment?

tldr; Micro-services architecture can start out simple at first, but when there are many of them, it will become complex even more so than the monolithic approach.

It’s quite simple really. There are some careers where you can learn and advance far more on your own. Software engineering is one of them. The amount of tutorials and videos available on the internet far surpasses any curriculum at school.

It looks like any slight mention of negativity towards Apple are being downvoted. The force is strong with this one.

The solution provided by OP is what I try to avoid at all costs. It’s the beginning of spaghetti code.

my bad, I read the title as a new MacBook Pro. Carry on.

The biggest new feature im looking for is the removal of the touchbar. Until then, I’m going to just buy upgraded but used 2012-2013 macbook pros. It’s one of those sounds good on paper but useless in real life. Not only that, it’s a hindra

When I put on my instructor hat, serverless is ideal as it drastically simplifies what a student has to learn to get a website up and running. But if you already are a full-stack engineer, then I think having an entire stack at your hands i

First 1-3 years of coding, I just coded to get sht done. I got a lot of sht done. Next 4-8 years, I started getting cute with it and applied all kinds of design patterns, Factory, Abstractions, DI, Facade, Singleton you name it. It looked c

What killed your motivation to be exact? Most programmers don’t find their work boring... you must’ve hit a really dead end company to feel that way.

So as of 2019, all languages are pretty much on par the same? Is that the conclusion?

Why not just use Postgres, set a field as jsonb, done?

I was thinking more in terms of a full-fledged API SaaS platform that have business logic and data-schemas/storage. It comes w/ an admin and you just pick and choose what you need, for example: /users /posts /produc

For me, the biggest pain points I face with CRMs are in integrations and customizations. Even Zendesk Sell+Support was awful when integrating to our ecom app. Does this CRM offer anything better in this area?

Kudos for the launch! Is there a way to demo the product? Or see it in live w/o having to pull out the CC?

Yeah this is just overkill. I haven’t edited /etc/motd in a while so this was news to me but this is just code creep and makes me sad.

Those who prefer tabs have clearly not experienced the nightmare of collaborating with devs who were using spaces.

This is why the world will never make peace. If we can’t even agree on something silly as tabs vs spaces.
