How so? From [1] it would seem that Lisps (idiomatic ones at least), Python, Perl, Haskell and Ruby are all free from the possibility of integer overflow. That definitely doesn't sound like "nearly all code". [1] https:/

Might be due to the muscle mass needed to carry such a heavy body around? Big muscles waste energy, even doing nothing much at all.

Just curious, how come you don't have a minimum font size set up? I never run into this problem due to having done so, but I see a lot of people complaining about it...

I've always wondered what people mean when they say Lisp & co are hard to read. I'd think having great powers of abstraction would produce code that reads more easily. Of course you have to figure out what the abstractions do,

You could try strengthening your arches by doing appropriate exercise. Running barefoot does this (I run barefoot because it feels nice, but I noticed an increase in foot strength too). Start very slowly if you go that route; no more than a

Middle click causes tabs to open in the background in Firefox. IIRC cmd+click is a left click? Ctrl-click also seems to work (on Linux).

I agree that for most lifestyles getting enough protein as a vegetarian or vegan isn't hard. However, why would you suggest something exotic like quinoa instead of lentils and beans which have been used as a source of protein for millenia?

I guess not; people should design their web pages with em-based font sizes and have everything relative to the base font size specified by the browser. (Unless there's a good argument against this practice I'm not aware of.) If you're regul

IIRC most of these anti-bacterial soaps contain this stuff: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triclosan It doesn't seem to lead to resistance either, but that doesn't make using those products any more sensible.
