They likely didn't have a choice, especially as they released a speed bump today. The Mac Pro had become a bit of a joke but the iMac and MBP range was powerful enough (just enough) that the pro community would grumble more than compla

I created this site partly as a way to teach myself web development, and also because I work remotely and found that there aren't too many resources for finding remote jobs.

I think you may have skimmed the article a bit too quick: >London is novel among recent Olympic hosts in that its plan for the Olympics was focused primarily on what would happen after the games.

I've been teaching myself web development and recently completed a project I started on that's a website/jobs board for remote jobs: https://remotefriendly.work .

I created Remote Friendly in part because there still aren't many places to find remote jobs (a few sites I've visited seem to recycle content from each other or StackOverflow). I've been teaching myself to code and I wanted

That is such a naive and ignorant generalization. Are you suggesting that every parent who had an unexpected pregnancy is foolish? What about single parents? No-one is truly prepared or ready for parenthood, nor can you know what life might

Out of interest, why is 17" the requirement? While there are laptops that have screens that size, they're not as portable as one might think. Laptops with screens that size tend to be used by video editors, photographers, anything

Definitely agree with you on the development / R&D. Cork is more a logistical base that's more about the day to day workings of the company, as opposed to coming up with the next big thing.

To say Apple's Cork presence is just a pretense is largely inaccurate. I've been to the Cork campus numerous times while I worked for the company for seven years (2005-2011). The campus was, and is, still a huge base of operations

Some good suggestions in this list, but some of this is a bit "tinfoil hat" (reinstall OS X every month? What about resorting data from a backup? Seems so unnecessary to suggest users wipe their Mac each month) Any reason the auth

I don't really have any issue with Yelp's terms of service. After all, user reviews are their backbone so I don't blame them for wanting to make sure that any Yelp review information needs to be identified as coming from Yelp
