   That's because wine is using X11. To run it on Wayland it needs Xwayland. But Wayland support patches are coming soon, which should make it run better than Xorg.

    If you use compose, you really should avoid podman, its full of unsupported edge cases and other issues. That's why I don't bother with it on servers, I always use docker-ce with compose.
